2026-27 Own Touch Winter Mini Soccer Clinic

The Own Touch Winter Mini Soccer Clinic is designed to introduce young participants ages 3–5 to soccer through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.

Using the Own Touch Methodology, each session creates a positive environment where participants can begin developing coordination, confidence, basic ball familiarity, and an early connection with the game.

What Participants Will Develop

Throughout the program, participants will be introduced to:

  • Coordination & Body Control: Developing basic movement patterns, balance, and overall body awareness.

  • Ball Familiarity: Building comfort and confidence with the ball through simple touches and movement activities.

  • Dribbling: Learning how to move with the ball through fun and guided exercises.

  • Passing: Introducing the basic concept of playing the ball to a teammate.

  • Shooting & Finishing: Exploring simple ways to strike the ball toward goal.

  • Listening & Interaction: Learning to follow simple instructions, participate with others, and become comfortable in a group training environment.

Play-Based Learning

Sessions are built around movement, repetition, and interactive games that keep participants active and engaged.

Activities are intentionally simple and age-appropriate, allowing children to learn through play while developing early soccer skills in a positive and supportive environment.

The goal at this age is not perfection. It is to help each participant feel comfortable with the ball, enjoy the training experience, and begin building a strong foundation for future development.
