The Own Touch Mentality program is focused on the “mental” side of soccer and will complement the existing Own Touch Mentee curriculum. The goal of the program is to provide players with the necessary tools and resources for continuous development in soccer.

HEAR FROM FORMER OWN TOUCH MENTEES...

“As young players reach higher levels of the game, they undoubtedly will encounter increased pressure and adversity. No one knows more about approaching and navigating these challenges than Coach Durkin. Mental strength is paramount in helping aspiring players transform their soccer skill set into a product that is attractive to coaches and able to withstand the unique difficulties they will inevitably face along the way.”
– SIMON FITCH, RICHMOND KICKERS, USL1

“Mental strength is the foundation of all high level athletes. Without the proper mentality, an athlete will not be able to cope with the highs and lows that soccer presents. Continuing to refine your mindset and developing ways to overcome adversity is key to an individual’s success.
– CHRIS DURKIN, ST. LOUIS CITY SC, MLS
