At Own Touch, we believe that every young player deserves the right environment to develop — and at early ages, everything starts with technical mastery.

As part of our Mentee Academy ecosystem, we are offering a complimentary technical assessment for players ages 6 to 12 in the Richmond area.

What is this assessment?

This is not a tryout. It’s a structured, individual session designed to give you and your child a clear understanding of their current technical level, while identifying the areas that represent the greatest opportunity for growth.

Each session takes place inside our training facility and is led by Peter Pearson, Technical Director of Own Touch.

What we evaluate
During the session, your child will be evaluated across five key technical areas:

• Juggling

• Passing & Receiving

• Dribbling

• Ball Mastery

• Shooting

What you will receive
After the assessment, you will have a direct conversation with our staff where we will:

• Share feedback on your child’s current technical level

• Highlight strengths and areas for improvement

• Provide guidance on the most appropriate development pathway
